Hayward DEX2421JKIT Clamp System Kit (Clamp, Seal, Hardware & Labels) for SwimClear® & Pro-Grid® Filters
The Hayward DEX2421JKIT is an OEM tank clamp system kit used to secure the upper and lower tank halves on select Hayward filters. This kit restores a tight, even clamping force around the tank seam and includes the key sealing and hardware components needed for a reliable, leak-resistant connection.

Installation Notes
- Shut off the pump and fully relieve filter pressure at the air relief before loosening the clamp.
- Clean the tank flange and sealing surfaces thoroughly—grit and old debris are common causes of seam leaks.
- Seat the metal-reinforced seal evenly and tighten the clamp uniformly per the filter’s instructions.
- After restart, bleed air until a steady stream of water flows, then inspect the seam for seepage.
- Never attempt to tighten or remove a clamp while the filter is under pressure.

Maintenance Tips
- Inspect the clamp and seal every time you open the filter—replace any seal that is flattened, nicked, or stiff.
- Lightly lubricate the tank seal with silicone-based pool lubricant to reduce pinching and improve resealing.
- Keep the clamp band and tank flange clean; debris under the seal is a common cause of seam leaks.
- If the seam seeps after service, depressurize, re-seat the seal evenly, and retighten the clamp uniformly (don’t overtighten).

Return Policy:
- All products, except as noted below, are eligible for return up to 30 days after receipt of item.
- For returns, an RMA form must be filled out HERE or customers can call for additional help.
- Shipping costs will be deducted from all returned items.
- Any item that is missing accessories, original packaging, or is not returned in the same condition that it was received in, may be subject to a re-stocking fee up to 100% based on the condition we receive it in.
- Items broken, damaged, or inoperable due to installer error will not be refunded.

- If a light is returned because it "doesn't work" and it tests fine, the cost to ship and a re-stocking fee will be deducted from the refund.

When accepting the Visa Gift card, you agree that if your order is returned or refunded, this amount will be deducted from the refunded amount.
