Description
A high-performance side-mount multiport valve engineered for use on compatible sand filter systems. Features a dial-handle design to select functions such as Filter, Backwash, Rinse, Waste, Recirculate, Closed and Winter. Built-in sight glass for verifying backwash clarity.
Compatibility & Fitment
- Designed for use with Hayward Pro Series sand filters including S210S, S244S and S310S that require a 1½″ female-pipe-thread port size.
- Use when the existing multiport valve is leaking, difficult to operate, cracked or no longer aligns with the filter tank plumbing.
- Drop-in replacement for installations specifying part number SP0710X62.

- Valve size: 1½″ female-pipe-thread (FIP).
- Positions: Seven-function dial handle (Filter, Backwash, Rinse, Waste, Recirculate, Closed, Winter).
- Includes built-in sight glass for monitoring backwash discharge clarity.
- Body material: reinforced thermoplastic for durability in pool and outdoor environments.
- Valve center-line to port dimension: approximately 6″ for side-mount tank alignment.
Installation Notes
Shut off the pump and relieve system pressure. Disconnect plumbing from the old valve, remove old valve from filter tank and clean sealing surfaces. Install the new SP0710X62 valve making sure correct orientation of ports and gasket seating. Re-connect plumbing, prime the system, restore flow and verify correct function of each valve position and proper sealing.
Maintenance Tip
At each service interval inspect the valve handle for smooth operation, the sight glass for clarity and the port connections for leaks. If the valve becomes stiff, leaks or the sight glass is damaged, replace this assembly to maintain optimal filtration performance.

Return Policy:
- Products that are received damaged will receive a refund in store credit.
- Most products are eligible for return within 30 days of receipt, except where noted below.
- To initiate a return, please complete an RMA form prior to sending your item back.
- Original shipping costs are non-refundable and will be deducted from the return credit.
- Items returned missing accessories or original packaging, or that are not in the same condition as received, may be subject to a restocking fee of up to 100% depending on the condition of the item upon return.
- Some returns will be charged an automatic 15% restocking fee.
- We are unable to issue refunds for items that have been damaged or rendered inoperable due to installer error.

- Chemical products are not eligible for return under any circumstances.

- Opened seals and o-rings are not eligible for return.
- Capacitors are not eligible for return.

- Automation components and circuit boards are not eligible for return.
- If a light is returned due to a reported malfunction and is found to be fully operational upon testing, return shipping costs and a restocking fee will be deducted from the refund.
- Orders refused at the time of delivery will be subject to the original shipping costs being deducted from the refund.
