Description
This kit contains two (2) main turbine bearings designed for use in suction-side automatic pool cleaners manufactured by Hayward. These bearings support the internal drive shaft/turbine mechanism, ensuring smooth, efficient rotation and preventing failure due to worn or damaged bearings.
Compatibility & Fitment
- Fits many Hayward suction-side cleaners including the Navigator, Pool-Vac Classic, Pool-Vac Ultra, Pool-Vac XL, AquaBug, Diver Dave and Wanda the Whale series.
- OEM replacement part for internal turbine assembly — verify model if bearings are worn or turbine seizure is present.

Installation Notes
Shut off the pool pump and isolate suction side. Remove the cleaner body and locate the turbine housing. Extract the existing bearings, clean the shaft and bore of any debris or corrosion. Press or carefully install the new bearings ensuring proper seating. Reassemble the turbine, check for free rotation before returning the cleaner to service. After installation, observe the cleaner’s drive mechanism—if rotation is smooth and hose behavior is normal, the installation is successful.
Maintenance Tip
A worn turbine bearing typically manifests as the cleaner losing its programmed steering pattern, tugging or “crawling” slowly across the pool, or ball bearings found in the filter basket. Replacing the bearings proactively when these symptoms appear can restore reliable cleaner performance and avoid more expensive drivetrain replacement.

Return Policy:
- Products that are received damaged will receive a refund in store credit.
- Most products are eligible for return within 30 days of receipt, except where noted below.
- To initiate a return, please complete an RMA form prior to sending your item back.
- Original shipping costs are non-refundable and will be deducted from the return credit.
- Items returned missing accessories or original packaging, or that are not in the same condition as received, may be subject to a restocking fee of up to 100% depending on the condition of the item upon return.
- Some returns will be charged an automatic 15% restocking fee.
- We are unable to issue refunds for items that have been damaged or rendered inoperable due to installer error.

- If a light is returned due to a reported malfunction and is found to be fully operational upon testing, return shipping costs and a restocking fee will be deducted from the refund.
- Orders refused at the time of delivery will be subject to the original shipping costs being deducted from the refund.
