- This model is not a propane heater. Do not attempt to use propane unless the exact propane model is ordered.
- This is the #51 cupro-nickel natural gas configuration and is not the same as copper exchanger, propane, ASME, Low NOx, or commercial versions.
- Although cupro-nickel provides improved resistance in challenging water conditions, proper water chemistry is still required.
- Some jurisdictions require Low NOx heaters or have restrictions on standard atmospheric gas heaters. Confirm local requirements before purchase or installation.
- Improper water chemistry, low flow, scale, corrosive water, freeze damage, or improper bypass settings can damage the heater and heat exchanger.
- Gas heater installation and service should be performed by a qualified pool heater professional according to Raypak instructions and local code.
Installation Notes

- Check the equipment pad for water leaks, gas odor, rust, or signs of overheating.
- Winterize the heater properly in freeze-prone conditions.
- Have ignition, gas pressure, flame quality, venting, safety controls, ProTek Shield condition, and heat exchanger condition checked by a qualified heater technician during routine service.

Return Policy:
- Products that are received damaged will receive a refund in store credit.

- Items returned missing accessories or original packaging, or that are not in the same condition as received, may be subject to a restocking fee of up to 100% depending on the condition of the item upon return.
