Part Number: R0456300
OEM replacement transformer for Jandy/Zodiac LXi and JXi series Low NOx pool and spa heaters (models 200, 250, 300, 400). This transformer provides the low-voltage control power required for proper ignition and system operation.
Disconnect all power to the heater. Ensure the heater is cool and gas supply is shut off. Remove the access panel and locate the existing transformer. Unwire the primary (line side) and secondary (control side) leads. Install the R0456300 in the same mounting position, connect primary leads according to heater wiring diagram, and connect the secondary leads to the control board. Replace the access panel and restore power, then test heater operation to verify ignition and control circuit are functioning correctly.
Include transformer checks in annual heater service. Look for loose connections, discoloration around terminals or overheating signs. Replacing the transformer early on restores proper control circuit voltage, prevents ignition failures and helps maintain safe, efficient heater operation.
