Hayward ECX4000C Clamp Assembly with Hardware for Perflex® Extended-Cycle D.E. Filters

The Hayward ECX4000C is an OEM clamp assembly with hardware used to secure the filter head (top) to the tank body on compatible Hayward Perflex extended-cycle D.E. filters. If your clamp is cracked, warped, stripped, or won’t tighten evenly, replacing the clamp helps restore a secure seal and safer, more reliable filter operation.

Installation Notes

  • Turn off the pump and relieve filter pressure before loosening any clamp.
  • Clean the clamp seat area and sealing surfaces so the head sits squarely.
  • Tighten evenly—uneven tension can pinch the O-ring and cause leaks.
  • If you are servicing the clamp, inspect the tank O-ring and replace it if flattened, stretched, or nicked.

Maintenance Tips

  • Always depressurize the filter before opening—never loosen a clamp under pressure.
  • Keep the clamp band and sealing surfaces clean; grit can prevent even clamping and cause leaks.
  • Lightly lubricate large O-rings with silicone-based pool lubricant to reduce pinching and improve sealing.

Return Policy:

  • All products, except as noted below, are eligible for return up to 30 days after receipt of item.
  • For returns, an RMA form must be filled out HERE or customers can call for additional help.
  • Shipping costs will be deducted from all returned items.
  • Any item that is missing accessories, original packaging, or is not returned in the same condition that it was received in, may be subject to a re-stocking fee up to 100% based on the condition we receive it in. 
  • Items broken, damaged, or inoperable due to installer error will not be refunded.
