The Pentair 77707-0017 is a replacement connector tube kit used in the water system of select Pentair and Sta-Rite gas pool/spa heaters. This tube and seal help maintain a leak-free internal water path so the heater can circulate water properly and heat consistently.

What This Part Does
- Provides an internal water connection path inside the heater water system
- Uses the included O-ring to help prevent drips and seepage at the connection point
- Helps restore normal operation when an older tube is cracked, deformed, or leaking at the seal
Common Reasons to Replace
- Water seepage or staining inside the heater cabinet near the water system connections
- O-ring is flattened, cracked, swollen, or won’t seal after disassembly/reassembly
- Tube is damaged during service or shows signs of heat/age-related deformation
- Heater is being rebuilt and you want to refresh wear seals in the water system
Installation Notes
- Turn off power and gas supply to the heater and allow the unit to cool before servicing.
- Shut valves, relieve pressure, and drain the heater water circuit as needed for your setup.
- Clean the sealing surfaces before installing the new tube and O-ring.
- Lightly lubricate the O-ring with a silicone-based lubricant (never petroleum-based) and seat it evenly (no twists).
- After reassembly, restore flow and check carefully for leaks before returning the heater to normal operation.
- Heater service is best handled by a qualified technician.

Maintenance Tips
- Maintain proper water chemistry to reduce corrosion and premature heater water-system wear.
- Keep flow in range (clean baskets and filter). Low flow can overheat internal components and shorten seal life.
- When servicing the water system, replace disturbed O-rings rather than reusing flattened seals.
- Winterize correctly in freeze-prone areas—freeze expansion can crack water-system components.

Return Policy:
- Products that are received damaged will receive a refund in store credit.
- Most products are eligible for return within 30 days of receipt, except where noted below.
- To initiate a return, please complete an RMA form prior to sending your item back.
- Original shipping costs are non-refundable and will be deducted from the return credit.
- Items returned missing accessories or original packaging, or that are not in the same condition as received, may be subject to a restocking fee of up to 100% depending on the condition of the item upon return.
- Some returns will be charged an automatic 15% restocking fee.
- We are unable to issue refunds for items that have been damaged or rendered inoperable due to installer error.
- Please complete the return form to receive your RMA number and return shipping label.
- Chemical products are not eligible for return under any circumstances.
- The Pentair Colorsync 618031 is not eligible for return.
- Pool cleaners are not eligible for return.
- Opened seals and o-rings are not eligible for return.
- Capacitors are not eligible for return.
- Plastic popup tools are not eligible for return.
- Automation components and circuit boards are not eligible for return.
- If a light is returned due to a reported malfunction and is found to be fully operational upon testing, return shipping costs and a restocking fee will be deducted from the refund.
- Orders refused at the time of delivery will be subject to the original shipping costs being deducted from the refund.
