Description

A threaded drain plug with factory O-ring designed to seal the drain port in compatible Zodiac/Jandy cartridge and DE filter tanks, preventing leaks and enabling secure pool filtration operation.

Compatibility & Fitment

  • Fits Zodiac/Jandy DEL series DE filters and CL series cartridge filters (pre-2008 models).
  • Replaces the existing drain plug when threads are worn, O-ring is missing or the plug leaks under pressure.
  • Suitable for pool service technicians or homeowners needing a reliable replacement cap for filter drainage ports.

Installation Notes

Shut off the pump and relieve pressure from the filter tank before servicing. Remove the old plug and inspect the O-ring groove and threads for wear or debris. Lubricate the new O-ring with pool-safe lubricant, install the R0358800 plug into the drain port threads and hand-tighten until snug. After restoring normal pressure, inspect for leaks around the plug.

Maintenance Tip

Inspect the drain plug and O-ring each service season or any time you open the filter tank. Replace the plug if you notice thread damage, O-ring cracking, leaks, or if the plug shows signs of corrosion or discoloration.

Return Policy:

  • All products, except as noted below, are eligible for return up to 30 days after receipt of item.
  • For returns, an RMA form must be filled out HERE or customers can call for additional help.
  • Shipping costs will be deducted from all returned items.
  • Any item that is missing accessories, original packaging, or is not returned in the same condition that it was received in, may be subject to a re-stocking fee up to 100% based on the condition we receive it in. 
  • Items broken, damaged, or inoperable due to installer error will not be refunded.

  • If a light is returned because it "doesn't work" and it tests fine, the cost to ship and a re-stocking fee will be deducted from the refund.
  • All products denied upon arrival at customers house WILL be charged the cost to ship.
