When to Replace Your Pool Filter Cartridge
Over time, pool filter cartridges accumulate dirt, oils, minerals, and other contaminants. Cleaning helps restore performance, but cartridges eventually require replacement.

Installation Instructions
- Turn off the swimming pool pump and disconnect electrical power.
- Relieve all pressure from the filter using the manufacturer's air relief procedure.
- Verify that the filter pressure gauge reads zero before opening the tank.
- Remove the filter tank lid according to Jandy's instructions.
- Remove the existing cartridge requiring replacement.
- Inspect the remaining cartridges and internal support components.
- Install the new Super-Pro X15-ULT-A9-M cartridge in the correct position.
- Inspect the filter tank O-ring and replace it if damaged.
- Reassemble the filter according to the manufacturer's instructions.
- Restart the system, purge trapped air, and check for leaks.
Cleaning and Maintenance
Periodically remove and rinse the cartridge using a garden hose, cleaning carefully between the pleats. For oils and other stubborn deposits, use a cleaning solution specifically approved for cartridge filter media.
Avoid excessive water pressure, wire brushes, and harsh cleaning methods that could damage the filtration fabric.

- Items returned missing accessories or original packaging, or that are not in the same condition as received, may be subject to a restocking fee of up to 100% depending on the condition of the item upon return.
