Installation Instructions

  • Turn off the pump and relieve pressure from the filter system.
  • Remove the tank lid or clamp and take out the old cartridge.
  • Rinse the filter tank and inspect sealing surfaces.
  • Insert the new C-9478 cartridge, ensuring proper seating in the top and bottom mounts.
  • Reassemble the tank, start the system, and confirm proper flow and operating pressure.

Troubleshooting

  • High filter pressure: Check for clogged plumbing, closed valves, or a dirty cartridge; clean or replace as needed.
  • Poor water clarity: Confirm correct cartridge installation, inspect for damaged pleats or worn end caps.
  • Leaks at tank lid: Verify lid O-ring condition, proper seating, and secure clamp tightening.

Maintenance Tip

Rinse the cartridge regularly using a hose nozzle to remove trapped debris. Deep clean with a cartridge cleaner as needed, and replace the cartridge when pleats collapse, media becomes worn, or cleaning no longer restores performance.

  • Items returned missing accessories or original packaging, or that are not in the same condition as received, may be subject to a restocking fee of up to 100% depending on the condition of the item upon return.
  • Some returns will be charged an automatic 15% restocking fee.

  • If a light is returned due to a reported malfunction and is found to be fully operational upon testing, return shipping costs and a restocking fee will be deducted from the refund.
  • Orders refused at the time of delivery will be subject to the original shipping costs being deducted from the refund.
