Installation & Compatibility Notes
Before installing the FG-1006 grid set, shut off the pump and relieve system pressure. Remove the filter lid, backwash the tank and drain. Remove existing grid cartridges and thoroughly clean the tank interior. Install the new grid set ensuring proper alignment with the manifold ports and that all grid supports nest correctly. Re-assemble the lid, refill and prime the system. After startup, monitor initial pressure drop to establish new baseline for future servicing.
Maintenance Tips
- Clean grids when pressure rises approximately 8-10 psi above the clean baseline; replace when pleats are permanently deformed or show fabric damage.
- Inspect grid collars and manifolds for cracks or wear during replacement—grid failures often stem from support damage.
- Store replacement grids upright in a dry, shaded location to preserve fabric integrity when not installed.
- Keep a service log of pressure and flow trends—using a full grid replacement after years of use helps restore efficiency and extend filter life.

Return Policy:
- Products that are received damaged will receive a refund in store credit.
- Most products are eligible for return within 30 days of receipt, except where noted below.
- To initiate a return, please complete an RMA form prior to sending your item back.
- Original shipping costs are non-refundable and will be deducted from the return credit.
- Items returned missing accessories or original packaging, or that are not in the same condition as received, may be subject to a restocking fee of up to 100% depending on the condition of the item upon return.
- Some returns will be charged an automatic 15% restocking fee.
- We are unable to issue refunds for items that have been damaged or rendered inoperable due to installer error.
