Swimline Deluxe Winter Pool Cover – 12 ft x 24 ft Oval Above Ground (PCO81628)
The Swimline PCO81628 is a durable solid winter pool cover designed to protect 12' x 24' oval above-ground pools through the off-season. Its tightly woven polyethylene construction helps keep leaves, dirt, and winter debris out of the pool while the black underside helps reduce sunlight penetration for a cleaner spring opening.
Key Features
- Pool Fit: 12 ft x 24 ft oval above-ground pools
- Actual Cover Size: 16 ft x 28 ft (provides approximately 4 ft overlap)
- Solid cover helps block debris and limit algae growth
- Scrim-reinforced woven polyethylene for seasonal durability
- UV and chemical resistant material designed for winter exposure
- Reinforced perimeter grommets (commonly spaced about every 4 ft)
- Includes all-weather cable and winch/tensioner for secure tie-down
- Color: Blue top / Black underside
What’s Included
- (1) Solid winter pool cover

Installation Notes
- Complete closing steps first (clean pool, balance water, lower water level as needed, and winterize plumbing).
- Center the cover so overlap is even around the pool.
- Thread the cable through the grommets and tighten evenly so the cover sits snug against the pool wall.
- In windy areas, consider adding above-ground cover clips (optional) for extra security.
- If the cover rubs against the top rail, add protective padding to reduce abrasion.

- If water collects on top, use a winter cover pump to reduce standing-water weight.
- Check cable tension after major wind events and temperature swings; re-tighten if needed.
- In spring, rinse the cover clean and let it dry completely before folding and storing in a cool, dry place.
