Applications & Compatibility
This base is intended for use on in-ground residential pools designed and rated for a 6-foot Frontier II jump stand and board combination. It must be installed with the proper Frontier II jig and matched 6' Frontier II board to maintain rating and performance. Not recommended for saltwater pools unless protected and approved by local code and manufacturer guidance.
Installation Notes
- Install only on pools designed for a diving/jump stand and rated to accept the specified board/stand combination.
- Set the included jig in concrete according to SR Smith’s installation instructions and local building codes.
- After the concrete has cured, bolt the spring base to the jig using the included stainless hardware.
- Mount the compatible Frontier II 6' board using the correct three-hole pattern and hardware torque values.
- Verify all fasteners are tight and that the board and stand assembly are stable before first use.
Troubleshooting
- Base movement or wobble: Check that the jig is properly set in concrete, confirm all mounting hardware is tightened to specification.
- Squeaks or noise when jumping: Inspect mounting hardware, bushings and board attachment points; retorque or replace worn components.
- Corrosion or finish damage: Clean and inspect periodically; touch up finish as needed and replace hardware showing advanced corrosion.
Maintenance Tip
Inspect the stand, hardware, and board surface at the start of each swim season. Keep the base and board clean, remove debris, and check for rust, cracks, or loose fasteners. Replace worn parts promptly to maintain safe jumping conditions and extend the life of the Frontier II system.

Return Policy:
- All products, except as noted below, are eligible for return up to 30 days after receipt of item.
- For returns, an RMA form must be filled out HERE or customers can call for additional help.
- Shipping costs will be deducted from all returned items.
- Any item that is missing accessories, original packaging, or is not returned in the same condition that it was received in, may be subject to a re-stocking fee up to 100% based on the condition we receive it in.
- Items broken, damaged, or inoperable due to installer error will not be refunded.

- If a light is returned because it "doesn't work" and it tests fine, the cost to ship and a re-stocking fee will be deducted from the refund.
