Description

This union connector kit is designed for 2″ nominal PVC plumbing and includes a built-in drain port. It is a genuine OEM replacement originally used on certain Raypak heat pumps and heaters, offering reliable seal and serviceability for pool heater installations.

Compatibility & Fitment

  • Fits Raypak models such as the 9350, 9353, 10353, 10354, 10355 heat pumps and Crosswind V series with 2″ PVC connections.
  • Intended for installations where a 2″ PVC union with service drain is required for pump or heater plumbing.
  • Perfect for retrofits or replacements when original union is cracked, leaks, or lacks proper drain capability.

Installation Notes

Before installation, shut off power and gas to the heater and isolate plumbing. Remove the old union hardware and any damaged fittings. Clean the seating surfaces and apply PVC solvent/primer per manufacturer instructions. Install the new union body, align the union nut and gasket, connect pipe with proper solvent-cement technique, and firmly hand-tighten the union nut until sealed. After installation, restore flow, inspect for leaks at the union, and test the built-in drain port for proper operation.

Maintenance Tip

During annual service, inspect the union connector for cracks, leaks or frost damage at the drain port. Tighten the union nut if needed, ensure the gasket remains pliable, and verify the drain port functions for winterization or service drainage. Replacing a compromised union like the H000317 helps prevent plumbing failure, water intrusion and heater damage.

Return Policy:

  • Products that are received damaged will receive a refund in store credit.

  • To initiate a return, please complete an RMA form prior to sending your item back.
  • Original shipping costs are non-refundable and will be deducted from the return credit.
  • Items returned missing accessories or original packaging, or that are not in the same condition as received, may be subject to a restocking fee of up to 100% depending on the condition of the item upon return.
  • Some returns will be charged an automatic 15% restocking fee.
  • We are unable to issue refunds for items that have been damaged or rendered inoperable due to installer error.
  • Please complete the return form to receive your RMA number and return shipping label.
  • Chemical products are not eligible for return under any circumstances.

  • Pool cleaners are not eligible for return.
  • Opened seals and o-rings are not eligible for return.
  • Capacitors are not eligible for return.

  • Automation components and circuit boards are not eligible for return.
  • If a light is returned due to a reported malfunction and is found to be fully operational upon testing, return shipping costs and a restocking fee will be deducted from the refund.
  • Orders refused at the time of delivery will be subject to the original shipping costs being deducted from the refund.
