Description
A 6-position multiport valve kit including 2″ union connections, designed for side-mount installation on sand or D.E. pool filter tanks. The dial handle allows quick selection of “Filter”, “Backwash”, “Rinse”, “Waste”, “Recirculate” and “Closed” modes for efficient system operation.
Compatibility & Fitment
- Fits filtration systems with 2″ plumbing ports—commonly used on D.E. or sand filters with side-mount multiport valve openings.
- Designed to replace older or damaged multiport valves on systems where the union nut style and 2″ port size matches the original configuration.
- Ideal when servicing the filter system and the valve handle is worn, ports are leaking, or when upgrading to a more durable ABS valve body construction.

Installation Notes
Shut off pump and relieve system pressure. Remove the old valve assembly and ensure the filter tank side port and union surfaces are clean and undamaged. Install the new 18201-0200 valve with the union nuts and gaskets provided. Align the flow arrow on the valve body with the system flow direction and secure the handle. Re-pressurize the system and check for leaks at the unions and valve body.
Maintenance Tip
During annual service, inspect the multiport valve handle operation, check for leaks around union connections, and cycle through each position to ensure smooth transition and no debris bogging. Replace the valve if the handle sticks, positions fail, or seal performance is degraded to maintain system efficiency and avoid costly downtime.

Return Policy:
- Products that are received damaged will receive a refund in store credit.
- Most products are eligible for return within 30 days of receipt, except where noted below.
- To initiate a return, please complete an RMA form prior to sending your item back.
- Original shipping costs are non-refundable and will be deducted from the return credit.
- Items returned missing accessories or original packaging, or that are not in the same condition as received, may be subject to a restocking fee of up to 100% depending on the condition of the item upon return.
- Some returns will be charged an automatic 15% restocking fee.
- We are unable to issue refunds for items that have been damaged or rendered inoperable due to installer error.

- Chemical products are not eligible for return under any circumstances.
- The Pentair Colorsync 618031 is not eligible for return.
- Pool cleaners are not eligible for return.
- Opened seals and o-rings are not eligible for return.
- Capacitors are not eligible for return.
- Plastic popup tools are not eligible for return.
- Automation components and circuit boards are not eligible for return.
- If a light is returned due to a reported malfunction and is found to be fully operational upon testing, return shipping costs and a restocking fee will be deducted from the refund.
- Orders refused at the time of delivery will be subject to the original shipping costs being deducted from the refund.
