When to Replace

  • Filter pressure rises quickly after cleaning (media is worn or permanently loaded)
  • Visible tears, loose end caps, cracked bands, or deformed pleats
  • Pleats won’t rinse clean or remain gray/oily after deep cleaning
  • Cloudy water persists despite correct chemistry and run time

Installation Notes

  • Shut off the pump and relieve pressure at the air-relief valve before opening the filter.
  • Remove and replace cartridges one-by-one to keep orientation consistent.
  • Inspect and clean the manifold and tank interior; debris left behind can re-clog new cartridges.
  • Confirm cartridges seat fully on the bottom manifold and align properly with the top manifold.
  • After reassembly, open the air relief and restart the pump until all air is purged, then close the relief.
