Pentair 170024 Lid Assembly – Fits Clean & Clear Plus 320 Filters

The Pentair 170024 Lid Assembly is a direct replacement tank lid designed for use with compatible 320 sq ft cartridge filters and Quad D.E. filter models. It restores proper sealing, pressure integrity and service access for your filter system.

Key Features

  • OEM-matching lid for 320 sq ft cartridge filter / Quad D.E. tank models.
  • Durable construction to maintain proper tank pressure and sealing performance.
  • Eliminates the need to replace the entire filter tank when the original lid is cracked, warped or leaking.

Technical Specifications

  • Part Number: 170024
  • Application: Tank lid for compatible filter models (320 sq ft cartridge and Quad D.E.).
  • Use-Condition: Replacement when original lid is damaged or unable to maintain seal.

Installation & Compatibility Notes

Shut off the pump and relieve all system pressure before servicing. Remove the existing lid and inspect the tank rim and seal surfaces for damage or deformation. Install the new 170024 lid assembly, ensuring a proper O-ring or gasket is seated and that the lid clamp or band is secured according to manufacturer specification. After installation, restore circulation and monitor system pressure for normal operation and absence of leaks or bypass flow.

Maintenance Tips

  • Inspect the lid at each seasonal service interval for cracks, warping or seal failures.
  • If tank pressure drops or the lid moves under pressure, replacement of the lid is often the corrective step.
  • Keep this lid assembly in stock as part of your service inventory—reduces downtime on filter maintenance calls.

Why Choose This Lid Assembly?

For pool service professionals and equipment retailers, the Pentair 170024 Lid Assembly provides a cost-effective solution to restore filter system integrity without replacing the full tank. Proper fit and OEM compatibility help safeguard system performance, reduce callbacks and improve maintenance efficiency.
