Description
A two-position push-pull backwash and filtration valve designed for use with either D.E. or sand filters. Features 2″ port connections and a centerline dimension of 7.81″ to align with filter inlet/outlet locations.
Compatibility & Fitment
- Fits many Pentair/Sta-Rite modular filters specified for this valve geometry — accepts 2″ plumbing and side-port connections.
- Ideal when the existing valve shows leaks, handle operation is difficult, or the valve cannot be serviced effectively.
- Direct replacement for systems listing part number 263053.

Installation Notes
Turn off the filter pump and relieve system pressure. Backwash or drain the filter tank if required. Remove the old valve assembly, clean and inspect the filter’s port openings and sealing surfaces. Install the new 263053 push-pull valve, align the ports correctly, secure unions and connections per manufacturer guidelines, restore circulation and test both filtration and backwash settings for proper flow and sealing.
Maintenance Tip
Inspect this valve each service interval. Check for leaks, ease of handle movement, and wear in seals or union joints. Replace immediately if operation becomes sticky, flow is restricted, or the valve leaks during use to maintain optimal filter performance.

- Products that are received damaged will receive a refund in store credit.

- To initiate a return, please complete an RMA form prior to sending your item back.

- Items returned missing accessories or original packaging, or that are not in the same condition as received, may be subject to a restocking fee of up to 100% depending on the condition of the item upon return.
- Some returns will be charged an automatic 15% restocking fee.

- If a light is returned due to a reported malfunction and is found to be fully operational upon testing, return shipping costs and a restocking fee will be deducted from the refund.
- Orders refused at the time of delivery will be subject to the original shipping costs being deducted from the refund.
