The Pentair 230043Z Lower Housing is a genuine replacement valve housing for compatible Pentair / A&A 6-port 2" low-profile in-floor cleaning valve systems. This housing forms the lower valve body section where the 2" ports connect and water is distributed to the in-floor cleaning zones.
This replacement part is commonly used when the original low-profile valve housing is cracked, leaking, warped, damaged from freeze expansion, damaged from overtightened plumbing, or no longer sealing properly with the valve lid and internal T-valve components.

- This part is not universal for all Pentair, A&A, top-feed, QuikClean, MagnaSweep, TurboClean, or in-floor cleaning valves.
- If the lid, O-ring, band clamp, T-valve assembly, or internal components are also worn or damaged, replacing the housing alone may not restore proper valve operation.
- Low system pressure, dirty filters, blocked lines, or worn cleaning heads can also affect in-floor cleaning performance.
Installation Notes
- Turn off the pool pump before servicing the valve.
- Relieve all system pressure before opening or removing the valve assembly.
- Mark existing plumbing connections and valve orientation before disassembly.
- Inspect the lid, O-ring, band clamp, T-valve assembly, cam, impeller, and internal valve components during service.
- Clean debris, sand, scale, or broken plastic from the valve area before reassembly.
- Replace worn O-rings and seals whenever the valve is opened for repair.
- Use pool-safe silicone lubricant on O-rings when needed.
- Do not use petroleum-based lubricants on rubber seals.
- Do not overtighten plumbing fittings or clamp hardware.
- After installation, restart the system and confirm that the valve cycles through all cleaning zones properly.

Maintenance Tips

Return Policy:
- Products that are received damaged will receive a refund in store credit.
- Most products are eligible for return within 30 days of receipt, except where noted below.
- To initiate a return, please complete an RMA form prior to sending your item back.
- Original shipping costs are non-refundable and will be deducted from the return credit.
- Items returned missing accessories or original packaging, or that are not in the same condition as received, may be subject to a restocking fee of up to 100% depending on the condition of the item upon return.
- Some returns will be charged an automatic 15% restocking fee.
- We are unable to issue refunds for items that have been damaged or rendered inoperable due to installer error.

- If a light is returned due to a reported malfunction and is found to be fully operational upon testing, return shipping costs and a restocking fee will be deducted from the refund.
- Orders refused at the time of delivery will be subject to the original shipping costs being deducted from the refund.
