What Does the Lock Ring Do?

Replacement and Installation
- Turn off the connected pool pump and prevent automatic restart.
- Isolate the equipment and completely relieve internal pressure according to the manufacturer's instructions.
- For chemical feeders, follow all Pentair chemical handling and depressurization precautions before opening the housing.
- Remove the existing lock ring using the equipment-specific service procedure.
- Inspect the lid, housing, sealing surfaces, and O-rings for damage.

- Items returned missing accessories or original packaging, or that are not in the same condition as received, may be subject to a restocking fee of up to 100% depending on the condition of the item upon return.
