The Jandy R0745700 is a complete 2" top-mount multiport valve assembly designed for Jandy Pro Series SFTM top-mount sand filters, most commonly the SFTM24-2.0. This valve provides the standard operating positions needed for routine filtration, backwashing, and maintenance while delivering dependable sealing and smooth handle operation.

What This Valve Does
- Routes water through the filter for normal Filter operation
- Allows Backwash and Rinse cycles to clean the sand bed and restore flow
- Provides common service modes for maintenance and seasonal preparation
- Helps maintain efficient backwash performance and reliable flow control when seals and diverter are in good condition
When to Replace
- Valve body is cracked, warped, or leaking at the housing
- Handle will not lock firmly into positions or feels loose/erratic
- Persistent leaking at the clamp seal after seal replacement/inspection
- Internal diverter wear causes bypass, poor backwash, or mixing of valve functions
Installation Notes
- Always turn the pump off before changing valve positions.
- Relieve filter pressure before removing the clamp or lifting the valve from the filter.
- Clean the sealing surface and ensure the O-ring/gasket is properly seated before tightening the clamp.
- After installation, run a short Rinse cycle after Backwash to help prevent sand/debris return.

Installation and Maintenance Tips
- Backwash when your filter pressure rises about 8–10 PSI above your clean starting pressure.
- After backwashing, always rinse until the sight glass/waste line runs clear (if equipped) to reduce clouding on restart.
- If the handle becomes stiff, inspect for debris under the lid and verify the diverter and seals are clean and seated correctly.
- For winterizing, follow your system procedure to drain the filter and set the valve to the recommended winter position.

Return Policy:
- Products that are received damaged will receive a refund in store credit.
- Most products are eligible for return within 30 days of receipt, except where noted below.
- To initiate a return, please complete an RMA form prior to sending your item back.
- Original shipping costs are non-refundable and will be deducted from the return credit.
- Items returned missing accessories or original packaging, or that are not in the same condition as received, may be subject to a restocking fee of up to 100% depending on the condition of the item upon return.
- Some returns will be charged an automatic 15% restocking fee.
- We are unable to issue refunds for items that have been damaged or rendered inoperable due to installer error.
- Please complete the return form to receive your RMA number and return shipping label.
- Chemical products are not eligible for return under any circumstances.
- The Pentair Colorsync 618031 is not eligible for return.
- Pool cleaners are not eligible for return.
- Opened seals and o-rings are not eligible for return.
- Capacitors are not eligible for return.
- Plastic popup tools are not eligible for return.
- Automation components and circuit boards are not eligible for return.
- If a light is returned due to a reported malfunction and is found to be fully operational upon testing, return shipping costs and a restocking fee will be deducted from the refund.
- Orders refused at the time of delivery will be subject to the original shipping costs being deducted from the refund.
