Hayward SPX0710X32 Vari-Flo Side-Mount Multiport Valve Assembly (1-1/2" Ports) for S200 / S240 Sand Filters
The Hayward SPX0710X32 is an OEM side-mount Vari-Flo multiport control valve assembly with 1-1/2" plumbing ports, built for Hayward S200 and S240 series sand filters. It provides the common multiport functions needed for normal filtration, backwashing, rinsing, and draining to waste.

Valve Functions (6-Position)
- Filter – normal filtration and vacuuming
- Backwash – cleans the sand bed by reversing flow
- Rinse – resettles sand after backwash
- Waste – bypasses filter and sends water out the waste line
- Recirculate – bypasses filter while returning water to pool
- Closed – shuts off flow (pump must be off before selecting)

Installation Notes
- Turn off power to the pump at the breaker and relieve filter pressure before servicing.
- Label plumbing lines before removal to ensure correct reassembly (return, pump, waste, etc.).
- Do not change valve positions while the pump is running.
- Some versions are sold without certain installation hardware (such as a clamp and/or O-ring) depending on the specific filter/valve setup—verify what your system requires before starting.

Maintenance Tips
- Backwash when your filter pressure rises about 8–10 PSI above your clean starting pressure.
- After every backwash cycle, run Rinse briefly before returning to Filter to help prevent blowback to the pool.
- If you notice water leaking to waste while filtering, inspect the internal diverter/spider gasket and seals.
- Keep lid and port O-rings clean and lightly lubricated with a silicone-based pool lubricant.

Return Policy:
- Products that are received damaged will receive a refund in store credit.
- Most products are eligible for return within 30 days of receipt, except where noted below.
- To initiate a return, please complete an RMA form prior to sending your item back.
- Original shipping costs are non-refundable and will be deducted from the return credit.
- Items returned missing accessories or original packaging, or that are not in the same condition as received, may be subject to a restocking fee of up to 100% depending on the condition of the item upon return.
- Some returns will be charged an automatic 15% restocking fee.
- We are unable to issue refunds for items that have been damaged or rendered inoperable due to installer error.

- Automation components and circuit boards are not eligible for return.
- If a light is returned due to a reported malfunction and is found to be fully operational upon testing, return shipping costs and a restocking fee will be deducted from the refund.
- Orders refused at the time of delivery will be subject to the original shipping costs being deducted from the refund.
