The Hayward SP1422D is a large Hydrostream directional flow inlet fitting with an extended flange, designed to install into 1-1/2" slip return line fittings on pools and spas. It includes a 3/4" rotating eyeball that lets you aim the return stream to improve circulation and reduce dead spots.

Maintenance Tips
- Brush around return fittings regularly to keep debris from restricting the opening.
- If the eyeball becomes hard to turn, remove it and rinse out sand/grit before re-locking the ring.
- Keep water chemistry balanced to reduce calcium scale that can stiffen the eyeball and reduce return flow.
- If return flow seems weak, check the pump basket and filter condition first—dirty filtration is the most common cause.

Return Policy:
- All products, except as noted below, are eligible for return up to 30 days after receipt of item.
- For returns, an RMA form must be filled out HERE or customers can call for additional help.
- Shipping costs will be deducted from all returned items.
- Any item that is missing accessories, original packaging, or is not returned in the same condition that it was received in, may be subject to a re-stocking fee up to 100% based on the condition we receive it in.
- Items broken, damaged, or inoperable due to installer error will not be refunded.
