AquaChek 561683 Pool & Spa Test Strips (Multi-Test) – Quick Water Balance Checks

The AquaChek 561683 test strips are a fast, easy way to check key pool or spa water balance parameters at home. Dip, wait a few seconds, and compare the colors to the bottle chart to spot common issues early—before they turn into cloudy water, scaling, corrosion, or sanitizer problems.

What It Tests (Verify on Bottle Label)

  • Sanitizer (typically Free Chlorine or Total Chlorine; some variants are Bromine)
  • pH
  • Total Alkalinity
  • Depending on the specific AquaChek strip type in this SKU, it may also include tests such as: Total Hardness and/or Cyanuric Acid (Stabilizer)

Key Features

  • Quick results with an easy-to-read color chart
  • Great for routine maintenance and quick troubleshooting
  • Helps confirm whether adjustments are needed before adding chemicals
  • Compact bottle for clean storage and easy handling

How to Use

  1. Take a sample away from return jets for a more representative reading.
  2. Dip one strip briefly and remove.
  3. Hold level for the time listed on the bottle (usually 10–20 seconds).
  4. Match pad colors to the chart to read each result.

Helpful Use Tips

  • Use strips for quick checks, then confirm major adjustments with a drop-based kit if you need higher precision.
  • Retest after chemical additions once water has circulated thoroughly.
  • If sanitizer and pH are in range but water still looks dull, check filtration, run time, and brushing.

Maintenance Tips

  • Store strips cool and dry with the cap tightly closed—humidity can ruin test pads.
  • Use dry hands when removing strips and avoid touching the pads.
  • Don’t leave the bottle open in the sun or near pool equipment where heat/moisture is high.
  • Replace strips if they’re past the expiration date or if colors look faded/inconsistent.
