Aladdin O-429 Hayward Filter Tank O-Ring | DEX2400K
The Aladdin O-429 Filter Tank O-Ring is an aftermarket replacement sealing gasket for compatible Hayward pool filters requiring OEM part number DEX2400K. This large O-ring fits between the upper and lower filter tank sections to help prevent water leaks during normal operation.
Designed for select Hayward ProGrid, Micro-Clear, SwimClear, and Super Star-Clear filter systems, the O-429 provides a replacement for tank seals that have become flattened, stretched, cracked, or damaged. It is a single replacement O-ring, not a complete filter repair kit.

Verify the filter model and original tank O-ring part number before ordering. Older filter versions and different tank configurations may require another seal, including Hayward DEX360K.

Installation Notes
- Turn off the pool pump and disconnect electrical power before opening the filter.
- Completely relieve internal filter pressure using the manufacturer's instructions.
- Remove the tank clamp and separate the filter sections only after confirming the system is depressurized.
- Remove the existing tank O-ring and clean the sealing groove and mating surfaces.
- Inspect the tank, clamp, and sealing surfaces for cracks or other damage.
- Install the new O-ring evenly without twisting, pinching, or overstretching it.
- Use only an O-ring lubricant approved by the filter manufacturer, if lubrication is recommended.
- Reassemble and secure the filter tank clamp according to Hayward's instructions.
- Check for leaks from a safe distance after restarting the system.

Maintenance Tips
- Inspect the filter tank O-ring whenever the tank is opened for service.
- Replace the seal if it shows flattening, cracking, stretching, or other damage.
- Keep the tank sealing surfaces clean and free of sand or debris.
- Never attempt to open or loosen the filter tank clamp while the system is pressurized.
- Inspect the filter tank and clamp if leakage continues after replacing the O-ring.

Return Policy:
- Products that are received damaged will receive a refund in store credit.
- Most products are eligible for return within 30 days of receipt, except where noted below.
- To initiate a return, please complete an RMA form prior to sending your item back.
- Original shipping costs are non-refundable and will be deducted from the return credit.
- Items returned missing accessories or original packaging, or that are not in the same condition as received, may be subject to a restocking fee of up to 100% depending on the condition of the item upon return.
- Some returns will be charged an automatic 15% restocking fee.
- We are unable to issue refunds for items that have been damaged or rendered inoperable due to installer error.

- If a light is returned due to a reported malfunction and is found to be fully operational upon testing, return shipping costs and a restocking fee will be deducted from the refund.
- Orders refused at the time of delivery will be subject to the original shipping costs being deducted from the refund.
