Benefits of a 50-Foot Professional Vacuum Hose
A longer pool vacuum hose provides additional reach for cleaning larger swimming pools without frequently repositioning the suction connection. The Super-Pro VP762112050PCOB2 is designed to provide flexibility during manual vacuuming while maintaining a secure connection to compatible cleaning equipment.
- Allows extended cleaning reach across larger pools.
- Helps reduce hose restrictions during manual vacuuming.
- Provides a durable option for frequent professional pool service.
- Flexible construction makes the hose easier to maneuver and coil.
- Included storage strap simplifies transportation between service locations.
Stationary Cuffs vs. Swivel Cuffs
The Super-Pro VP762112050PCOB2 features two stationary cuffs, meaning neither hose end incorporates an integrated swivel mechanism.
Stationary cuffs provide a fixed connection to compatible vacuum equipment. For installations requiring a swiveling hose connection to reduce twisting at the vacuum head, a compatible swivel adapter or a different hose model with an integrated swivel cuff may be needed.
How to Use the Super-Pro Pool Vacuum Hose
- Attach one end of the vacuum hose to a compatible swimming pool vacuum head.
- Secure the vacuum head to a compatible telescopic pool pole.
- Submerge the vacuum head and hose into the pool.
- Fill the vacuum hose completely with water to remove trapped air before connecting it to the suction system.
- Connect the opposite hose end to the appropriate skimmer vacuum plate or dedicated suction fitting.
- Verify proper suction and begin vacuuming the pool using slow, controlled movements.
- When cleaning is complete, disconnect and drain the hose.
- Coil the hose and secure it with the included Velcro storage strap.
Cleaning and Storage Recommendations
Proper hose maintenance helps preserve flexibility and extend service life. After vacuuming, rinse the hose with fresh water and inspect both stationary cuffs for cracks, looseness, or damage.
- Drain accumulated water before storing.
- Coil the hose loosely to avoid unnecessary stress.
- Avoid sharp bends and crushing the hose during storage.
- Keep the hose away from sharp objects and abrasive surfaces.
- Store in a shaded, protected location when possible.
- Inspect the hose periodically for punctures or air leaks that could reduce vacuum suction.
