Applications & Fitment
Ideal for use in pool and spa plumbing where a 90-degree directional change is required and one end uses a socket/slip connection while the other uses a spigot. Commonly used in PVC return lines, pump suction plumbing, or filter plumbing runs where OEM compatibility with Waterway plumbing parts is needed.
Installation Notes
- Ensure plumbing is cut square and deburred before solvent cementing.
- Dry-fit the elbow to confirm alignment and avoid stress on fittings.
- Use PVC primer and solvent cement rated for pool/spa service.
- After curing the joint, pressure test the plumbing system and inspect for leaks.
Troubleshooting
- Leak at joint: Check that the correct glue/primer was used, joint was fully inserted, and slot of spigot is aligned.
- Flow restriction: Ensure the elbow does not add unnecessary sharp bends near pump or filter; reposition if possible.
- Mismatch size: Confirm the spigot/slip sizes match existing plumbing – 1½" spigot x 1½" slip.
Maintenance Tip
Inspect this fitting when servicing the pump or filter assembly. Check for stress cracks near the elbow due to vibration or thermal cycling. Reassess solvent-cement joints annually in chemical-intensive systems and replace if signs of degradation appear.

Return Policy:
- Products that are received damaged will receive a refund in store credit.

- To initiate a return, please complete an RMA form prior to sending your item back.
- Original shipping costs are non-refundable and will be deducted from the return credit.
- Items returned missing accessories or original packaging, or that are not in the same condition as received, may be subject to a restocking fee of up to 100% depending on the condition of the item upon return.
- Some returns will be charged an automatic 15% restocking fee.
- We are unable to issue refunds for items that have been damaged or rendered inoperable due to installer error.
