Description

A precision reagent solution formulated to determine and adjust calcium hardness levels in pool and spa water test kits. Ideal for accurate calcium hardness testing and maintaining balanced water chemistry.

Compatibility & Fitment

  • Compatible with Taylor Technologies residential pool and spa water test kits that require the calcium buffer reagent (#10).
  • Use when the reagent bottle is nearly empty, expired, or you want to refresh your testing kit to retain accuracy.
  • Direct replacement for systems specifying part number R-0010-A-24.

  • Volume: ¾ oz (approximately 22 mL).
  • Designed for use with test kits that measure calcium hardness and related parameters.
  • Formulated and packaged for long-term storage when sealed and kept away from heat or direct sunlight.

Installation Notes

Open your pool or spa water test kit, remove the cap on the reagent bottle, and add the number of drops required by the testing instructions into the sample vial. Mix and compare the color change or meter reading to determine calcium hardness. Replace reagent before the listed expiry if consistency or clarity of results declines.

Maintenance Tip

Always re-cap the bottle after use and store at stable room temperature away from sunlight and chemicals. Replace the reagent annually or if clarity, color response, or test results start to drift to maintain accurate water testing and healthy pool chemistry.

Return Policy:

  • All products, except as noted below, are eligible for return up to 30 days after receipt of item.
  • For returns, an RMA form must be filled out HERE or customers can call for additional help.
  • Shipping costs will be deducted from all returned items.
  • Any item that is missing accessories, original packaging, or is not returned in the same condition that it was received in, may be subject to a re-stocking fee up to 100% based on the condition we receive it in. 
  • Items broken, damaged, or inoperable due to installer error will not be refunded.
  • Fill out the return form or give us a call to obtain an RMA and return shipping label.

  • No returns on capacitors.
  • If a light is returned because it "doesn't work" and it tests fine, the cost to ship and a re-stocking fee will be deducted from the refund.
  • All products denied upon arrival at customers house WILL be charged the cost to ship.
  • Visa Gift Card Promotions: Gift cards are sent within 14 days of the order. When accepting the Visa Gift card, you agree that if your order is returned or refunded, this amount will be deducted from the refunded amount. All Visa Gift cards are sent via email in an E-Gift Card format and are non refundable.
