Description

A genuine Pentair valve adapter kit designed to connect 2" and 2½" plumbing to compatible Pentair filters and multiport valves. This kit ensures a secure, leak-free connection between the filter tank and the control valve assembly.

Compatibility & Fitment

  • Fits Pentair Clean & Clear Plus, FNS Plus, and Quad D.E. filter systems.
  • Designed for 2" and 2½" valve or plumbing configurations.
  • Direct replacement for installations specifying part number 270100.
  • Use when upgrading or replacing worn or damaged union adapters between the valve and filter tank.

Installation Notes

Turn off the pump and relieve system pressure before servicing. Disconnect the existing valve unions from the filter tank. Clean the connection surfaces and inspect o-rings for wear. Install the new Pentair 270100 adapters, hand-tighten unions evenly, and verify proper alignment of the valve and tank ports. Restore system pressure and check for leaks during initial operation.

Maintenance Tip

Inspect union fittings and o-rings annually for cracks or signs of chemical degradation. Apply a light silicone lubricant to o-rings during reassembly to prevent binding and extend service life. Replace components as needed to maintain leak-free operation and optimal filter performance.

Return Policy:

  • All products, except as noted below, are eligible for return up to 30 days after receipt of item.
  • For returns, an RMA form must be filled out HERE or customers can call for additional help.
  • Shipping costs will be deducted from all returned items.
  • Any item that is missing accessories, original packaging, or is not returned in the same condition that it was received in, may be subject to a re-stocking fee up to 100% based on the condition we receive it in. 
  • Items broken, damaged, or inoperable due to installer error will not be refunded.

  • If a light is returned because it "doesn't work" and it tests fine, the cost to ship and a re-stocking fee will be deducted from the refund.
  • All products denied upon arrival at customers house WILL be charged the cost to ship.
