Taylor R-0871-F FAS-DPD Titrating Reagent – 1 Quart Refill (Chlorine Testing)
The Taylor R-0871-F is a 1 quart refill of FAS-DPD titrating reagent used to measure free chlorine (FC) and combined chlorine (CC) with the Taylor FAS-DPD drop-count method. It’s the same chlorine titrant used in many Taylor professional test kits and is ideal for high-volume testing or refilling larger refill bottles.

Compatibility Notes
- R-0871-F is a refill size. Many test kits use smaller R-0871 bottles (same reagent) but in different bottle sizes.
- For a complete FAS-DPD chlorine test, you also need the DPD powder indicator used to turn the sample pink before titration.

Maintenance Tips
- Store reagents cool, dry, and out of direct sunlight to help maintain accuracy.
- Keep caps tightly closed and avoid contaminating the dropper tip (don’t touch pool water with the bottle opening).
- Replace reagents that are past their recommended shelf life or have been stored in extreme heat/cold.
- Rinse test cells with fresh water after testing and allow them to air dry to reduce residue and staining.
