Applications & Fitment
This filter is intended for residential inground pools where higher flow filtration is needed. It’s especially suited for systems that demand reliability, minimal service time, and durable construction. Confirm your pump’s flow rate, plumbing configuration, and available space before installing.
Installation Instructions
- Ensure the filter is placed on a stable, level surface capable of supporting its full sand weight (~350 lbs plus water).
- Install the multiport valve on top of the tank and connect the inlet and outlet plumbing per markings “PUMP” and “RETURN”.
- Fill the tank partially with water to protect the laterals, add the specified sand amount, then reassemble the valve and lid.
- Prime and start the pump in BACKWASH mode first, then rinse, and finally set the valve to FILTER mode. Monitor pressure and check for leaks.
Troubleshooting & Maintenance
- High pressure rise or frequent backwashing: Check for clogged sand, compacted sand bed or inadequate sand depth. Replace sand every 5–7 years if needed.
- Low flow or water clarity issues: Verify valve is set to FILTER mode, inspect for damaged laterals or blockages, and ensure sand bed is level.
- Leaks or valve malfunction: Inspect valve O-rings, clamp ring (if applicable) and multiport valve for wear. Replace as needed.
Maintenance Tip
Backwash the filter when pressure rises 8-10 psi above clean starting pressure or when flow visibly reduces. Flush fine debris during the rinse cycle. Clean the tank internals annually and replace sand every 5–7 years to maintain optimum performance. Regular service ensures clearer water and longer equipment life.

Return Policy:
- Products that are received damaged will receive a refund in store credit.
- Most products are eligible for return within 30 days of receipt, except where noted below.
- To initiate a return, please complete an RMA form prior to sending your item back.
- Original shipping costs are non-refundable and will be deducted from the return credit.
- Items returned missing accessories or original packaging, or that are not in the same condition as received, may be subject to a restocking fee of up to 100% depending on the condition of the item upon return.
- Some returns will be charged an automatic 15% restocking fee.
- We are unable to issue refunds for items that have been damaged or rendered inoperable due to installer error.
- Please complete the return form to receive your RMA number and return shipping label.
- Chemical products are not eligible for return under any circumstances.

- Opened seals and o-rings are not eligible for return.
- Capacitors are not eligible for return.

- Automation components and circuit boards are not eligible for return.
- If a light is returned due to a reported malfunction and is found to be fully operational upon testing, return shipping costs and a restocking fee will be deducted from the refund.
- Orders refused at the time of delivery will be subject to the original shipping costs being deducted from the refund.
