Hayward CX580XREPAK4 – 4-Pack Cartridge Set (325 sq ft Total)

The CX580XREPAK4 is a pack of four replacement filter cartridges designed for the Hayward SwimClear / Super StarClear pool-cartridge filter systems (models like C3020, C3025, C3030, etc.). Together they provide 325 sq ft of filtration media, restoring full filter performance and flow efficiency for multi-cartridge pool filters.

Key Features

  • Four 81 sq ft open-ended cartridges — total 325 sq ft filtration area when installed as a complete set.
  • Strong, molded core construction for stability under pressure and extended service life.
  • Premium polyester media — chemically resistant and compatible with all common pool sanitizers.
  • Designed to meet OEM specifications — ensures proper fit and hydraulic performance on compatible filter housings.
  • Individually tagged cartridges for easy part-identification and replacement scheduling.

Specifications

  • Manufacturer: Hayward Pool Products
  • Part Number: CX580XREPAK4
  • Total Filtration Area: 325 sq ft (4 × 81 sq ft cartridges)
  • Cartridge Dimensions: Approx. 19-5/8" length × 7" outside diameter (open top & bottom ports)
  • Compatible Filter Models: Hayward SwimClear C3020, C3025, C3030, Super StarClear C3000 and other cartridge filters using the CX580XRE cartridge format
  • Media: Durable polyester cartridge media (pool-rated)

When & Why to Replace

Replace the cartridge set when filter pressure rises, flow decreases noticeably, or water clarity degrades — signs the media is clogged or worn out. Replacing all four at once ensures balanced water flow and restores full filtration capacity across the system.

Installation & Maintenance Tips

  • Shut off the pump, relieve pressure, and remove the filter lid before servicing.
  • Remove and rinse old cartridges thoroughly or dispose if worn. Inspect cylinder cores and gaskets for damage.
  • Install new cartridges with open ends facing the correct direction. Tighten the filter lid securely and prime the system before restarting.
  • Rinse cartridges every 2–4 weeks (or when filter pressure climbs), and deep-clean with a cartridge-safe cleaner periodically for maximum lifespan.

Why Keep CX580XREPAK4 in Stock

Because multi-cartridge filters rely on sets of four for optimal performance, having the CX580XREPAK4 kit on hand ensures you can fully restore a customer’s filtration system without mixing old and new cartridges — preserving proper hydraulic balance, filter efficiency, and water clarity.
