Installation Instructions

  • Turn off power and gas supply to the heater before performing any service.
  • Remove the access panel and note the routing of the original pilot tube.
  • Disconnect the old tube from the pilot assembly and sensor fittings, remove it carefully.
  • Install the new 004078F tube along the same routing path, connect fittings securely, and double-check orientation.
  • Restore gas and power, and run the heater through a start sequence to confirm proper ignition and stable pilot flame.

Troubleshooting

  • No pilot flame or loss of ignition: Check that the pilot tube is connected correctly, free of kinks, and that gas supply is present.
  • Pilot flame unstable or yellow: Ensure the tube is properly routed away from excessive heat, inspect for damage or blockage, and verify gas pressure.
  • Gas smell around heater: Shut off the unit immediately, inspect all connections and fittings, and confirm proper leak-proof installation of the pilot tube.

Maintenance Tip

Inspect the pilot tube and fittings annually during routine heater maintenance. Replace the tube if you see kinks, corrosion, or faded signage to ensure safe ignition and help prolong the life of your heater system.

Return Policy:

  • Products that are received damaged will receive a refund in store credit.
  • Most products are eligible for return within 30 days of receipt, except where noted below.
  • To initiate a return, please complete an RMA form prior to sending your item back.
  • Original shipping costs are non-refundable and will be deducted from the return credit.
  • Items returned missing accessories or original packaging, or that are not in the same condition as received, may be subject to a restocking fee of up to 100% depending on the condition of the item upon return.
  • Some returns will be charged an automatic 15% restocking fee.
  • We are unable to issue refunds for items that have been damaged or rendered inoperable due to installer error.

  • If a light is returned due to a reported malfunction and is found to be fully operational upon testing, return shipping costs and a restocking fee will be deducted from the refund.
  • Orders refused at the time of delivery will be subject to the original shipping costs being deducted from the refund.
