Pentair K12450 – Foot Pad Kit for Kreepy Krauly Kruiser®

Product Overview

This Pentair K12450 Foot Pad Kit is a genuine OEM replacement part for the Kreepy Krauly Kruiser suction-cleaner model. It mounts at the base of the cleaner, provides the vacuum seal to the pool surface, and helps ensure optimal debris pick-up and mobility.

Key Features

Direct factory-replacement foot pad kit for Kreepy Krauly Kruiser pool cleaners.
Durable construction maintains suction seal and cleaner performance over time.
Gray foot pad design has central opening allowing debris flow into cleaner housing.
Simple install: remove old foot pad, insert new kit, and restore cleaner operation.

Technical Specifications

Part Number: K12450
Kit includes the foot pad assembly (no other cleaner parts included).
Color: Gray
Weight: Approx. 0.23 lbs (kit only)

Compatibility & Fitment

Compatible with the Kreepy Krauly Kruiser suction-type pool cleaner model (2012 and later versions). Use this kit when the cleaner is losing suction or the foot pad is visibly worn or deformed. Always confirm your cleaner model before purchase to ensure fitment.

Installation Instructions

Turn off the pool circulation system and remove cleaner from pool.
Disconnect hose and prepare a clean work area.
Remove the old foot pad from the base of the cleaner.
Install the new K12450 foot pad, ensuring it is seated properly and aligned to mounting points.
Reconnect hose, return cleaner to pool, restore circulation and check for proper suction and movement.

Troubleshooting & Maintenance Tip

Cleaner slipping or losing suction: Inspect the foot pad—if it’s cracked, flattened or missing the seal lip, replace with this K12450 kit.
Cleaner not traversing pool surface: Verify hose length and cleaner function; worn foot pads often reduce effective motion and coverage.

Maintenance Tip

Inspect the foot pad whenever you service the cleaner or notice performance decline. Replacing the pad at first signs of wear helps maintain full suction, prolong cleaner life, and ensure efficient pool cleaning between maintenance visits.
