Hayward AQL2-BASE-RF Wireless Base Station (RF Receiver) for ProLogic® / AquaLogic® / AquaPlus® / OnCommand®
The Hayward AQL2-BASE-RF is the OEM wireless base station (RF receiver) that enables communication between compatible Hayward/Goldline automation controls and supported wireless remotes. It mounts at the equipment pad and acts as the central “hub” for wireless keypads, spa-side remotes, tabletop/wall-mount remotes, and AquaPod-style handheld controllers (when paired with the correct remote type).

Important compatibility note: Wireless accessories that require an AQL2-BASE-RF will not communicate with the older AQL-BASE-RF base station. If you’re upgrading wireless accessories, confirm you have the correct base station model and required control software revision before ordering.

- Replacing a failed base station causing remotes to lose connection or fail range tests

Installation Notes
- Install at the equipment pad on/near the automation panel as directed by the automation system manual.
- After installation, pair/train the wireless remote(s) and perform any available range test from the controller/remote menu.
- Wireless performance depends on distance, walls/structures, and RF interference; place the base station with the clearest practical signal path.
- Electrical work should be performed by a qualified professional and must follow applicable codes.

Maintenance Tips
- Keep the automation enclosure sealed and dry—moisture intrusion is a common cause of RF/board issues.
- If wireless range becomes inconsistent, inspect antenna/base placement and check for new sources of interference (metal enclosures, added Wi-Fi gear, etc.).
- If remotes won’t connect after a power event, re-run the system’s wireless “teach/pair” process and confirm software revisions meet requirements.

- Orders costing more than $300 WILL be required to have signature confirmation upon delivery.
- Handling time is typically only 1 day.
- Any item ordered after 1pm Phoenix time, may not ship same-day.

Return Policy:
- All products, except as noted below, are eligible for return up to 30 days after receipt of item.
- For returns, an RMA form must be filled out HERE or customers can call for additional help.
- Shipping costs will be deducted from all returned items.
- Any item that is missing accessories, original packaging, or is not returned in the same condition that it was received in, may be subject to a re-stocking fee up to 100% based on the condition we receive it in.
- Items broken, damaged, or inoperable due to installer error will not be refunded.
- Fill out the return form or give us a call to obtain an RMA and return shipping label.

- If a light is returned because it "doesn't work" and it tests fine, the cost to ship and a re-stocking fee will be deducted from the refund.
- All products denied upon arrival at customers house WILL be charged the cost to ship.
- Visa Gift Card Promotions: Gift cards are sent within 14 days of the order. When accepting the Visa Gift card, you agree that if your order is returned or refunded, this amount will be deducted from the refunded amount. All Visa Gift cards are sent via email in an E-Gift Card format and are non refundable.
