Hayward SPX0125T Strainer Cover Gasket (Pump Lid O-Ring) for MaxFlo Pumps
The Hayward SPX0125T is an OEM strainer cover gasket (pump lid O-ring) used to seal the clear strainer lid to the pump strainer housing. Replacing a flattened or cracked lid gasket helps prevent air leaks, drips, and loss of prime on compatible Hayward MaxFlo pump models.

Installation Notes
- Turn off power to the pump at the breaker before servicing.
- Remove the lid, lift out the old gasket, and clean the gasket groove and lid sealing surface.
- Install the new gasket evenly (do not stretch excessively).
- Lightly lubricate the gasket with a silicone-based pool lube to improve sealing and reduce pinching.
- Hand-tighten the lid per the pump’s instructions—do not overtighten.

Maintenance Tips
- Clean the lid and gasket seating surfaces every time you empty the pump basket.
- Re-lube the gasket lightly a few times per season to help prevent air leaks and sticking.
- If the lid still leaks after gasket replacement, inspect the lid for cracks/warping and the housing sealing surface for damage.
- Any persistent air leak can reduce pump performance—address it early to protect the pump and filtration system.

Return Policy:
- All products, except as noted below, are eligible for return up to 30 days after receipt of item.
- For returns, an RMA form must be filled out HERE or customers can call for additional help.
- Shipping costs will be deducted from all returned items.
- Any item that is missing accessories, original packaging, or is not returned in the same condition that it was received in, may be subject to a re-stocking fee up to 100% based on the condition we receive it in.
- Items broken, damaged, or inoperable due to installer error will not be refunded.

- If a light is returned because it "doesn't work" and it tests fine, the cost to ship and a re-stocking fee will be deducted from the refund.

- Visa Gift Card Promotions: Gift cards are sent within 14 days of the order. When accepting the Visa Gift card, you agree that if your order is returned or refunded, this amount will be deducted from the refunded amount. All Visa Gift cards are sent via email in an E-Gift Card format and are non refundable.
