Hayward SP11071 Skim-Vac Skimmer Vacuum Plate with Combo Elbow (Fits SP1089)
The Hayward SP11071 is an OEM Skim-Vac vacuum plate designed to connect a manual vacuum hose to compatible Hayward skimmers while keeping debris captured in the skimmer basket. It’s a simple, reliable way to vacuum your pool without routing debris through the pump strainer basket.

- Designed to fit Hayward skimmer model SP1089 (front access style)
- Works with standard manual vacuum hoses using the included elbow adapter

Note: A rubber gasket is typically not included with this Skim-Vac plate. If your skimmer setup requires a gasket for best sealing, plan to replace it separately.
How It Works
- Turn the pump off.
- Place the Skim-Vac plate over the skimmer basket opening.
- Attach your vacuum hose to the elbow (use the size that matches your hose).
- Prime the hose as you normally would, then turn the pump back on and begin vacuuming.

Maintenance Tips
- Empty the skimmer basket frequently while vacuuming to maintain suction and protect pump flow.
- If suction is weak, check for air leaks at the hose connection and confirm the vacuum hose is fully primed.
- Rinse the Skim-Vac plate and elbow after use to remove grit that can wear seals and fittings.
- If your pump loses prime during vacuuming, inspect the skimmer lid, basket, and any gaskets for damage or poor sealing.

Return Policy:
- All products, except as noted below, are eligible for return up to 30 days after receipt of item.
- For returns, an RMA form must be filled out HERE or customers can call for additional help.
- Shipping costs will be deducted from all returned items.
- Any item that is missing accessories, original packaging, or is not returned in the same condition that it was received in, may be subject to a re-stocking fee up to 100% based on the condition we receive it in.
- Items broken, damaged, or inoperable due to installer error will not be refunded.
- Fill out the return form or give us a call to obtain an RMA and return shipping label.

- If a light is returned because it "doesn't work" and it tests fine, the cost to ship and a re-stocking fee will be deducted from the refund.
- All products denied upon arrival at customers house WILL be charged the cost to ship.
- Visa Gift Card Promotions: Gift cards are sent within 14 days of the order. When accepting the Visa Gift card, you agree that if your order is returned or refunded, this amount will be deducted from the refunded amount. All Visa Gift cards are sent via email in an E-Gift Card format and are non refundable.
