Extract the old lateral assembly, clean and inspect the tank interior, then install the SX164DA assembly ensuring the hub seats properly and lateral arms are correctly oriented. Re-install the sand media or other media per manufacturer instructions, reassemble the tank, and resume circulation while checking for uniform backwash flow and no leaks.
