Hayward GLX-DIY-ORING Salt Cell O-Ring (Replacement Seal) for Salt & Swim
The Hayward GLX-DIY-ORING is a genuine OEM salt cell O-ring used to seal the connection between the salt cell and the cell housing/union on compatible Hayward salt chlorination systems. Replacing a flattened, cracked, or swollen O-ring helps prevent drips, air leaks, and salt water seepage at the cell union.

Installation Notes
- Turn the pump off and relieve pressure before opening the cell union.
- Remove the old O-ring and clean the groove and mating surfaces (salt crystals and debris can cause leaks).
- Install the new O-ring evenly (do not stretch excessively).
- Lightly lubricate with a silicone-based pool O-ring lubricant to reduce pinching and improve sealing.
- Hand-tighten unions firmly; avoid over-tightening that can distort the O-ring or crack plastic fittings.

Maintenance Tips
- After cleaning the salt cell, inspect the O-ring for flattening, cracks, or swelling—replace it if it doesn’t spring back.
- Keep the union threads and sealing surfaces clean; dried salt crystals can prevent a good seal.
- Use only silicone-based lubricant—petroleum products can damage many pool seals.
- If leaks persist after replacement, inspect the union faces for warping/cracks and confirm the cell is seated squarely.

Return Policy:
- Products that are received damaged will receive a refund in store credit.
- Most products are eligible for return within 30 days of receipt, except where noted below.
- To initiate a return, please complete an RMA form prior to sending your item back.
- Original shipping costs are non-refundable and will be deducted from the return credit.
- Items returned missing accessories or original packaging, or that are not in the same condition as received, may be subject to a restocking fee of up to 100% depending on the condition of the item upon return.
- Some returns will be charged an automatic 15% restocking fee.
- We are unable to issue refunds for items that have been damaged or rendered inoperable due to installer error.
- Please complete the return form to receive your RMA number and return shipping label.
- Chemical products are not eligible for return under any circumstances.

- If a light is returned due to a reported malfunction and is found to be fully operational upon testing, return shipping costs and a restocking fee will be deducted from the refund.
- Orders refused at the time of delivery will be subject to the original shipping costs being deducted from the refund.
