Hayward CLX220G Saddle Fitting with Gasket for CL200 / CL220 Chemical Feeders
The Hayward CLX220G is an OEM saddle fitting with gasket used on select Hayward in-line/off-line chlorine and bromine chemical feeders. It provides the correct mounting and sealing interface where the feeder connects into the plumbing line, helping maintain a secure, leak-resistant connection.

Installation Notes
- Turn the pump off and relieve pressure before servicing the feeder or saddle connection.
- Clean the mating surfaces so the gasket can seat evenly (salt/scale and old chemical residue can prevent sealing).
- Snug fasteners evenly—avoid overtightening plastic parts, which can crack the saddle or distort the gasket.
- After installation, run the system and check carefully for seepage around the saddle and gasket area.

Maintenance Tips
- Inspect the saddle and gasket area during seasonal service—small drips can quickly leave calcium deposits that worsen sealing.
- Keep feeder output reasonable and water chemistry balanced to reduce scale buildup around feeder fittings.
- If you open the connection for service, clean sealing surfaces and replace any flattened gasket rather than reusing it.
- Support nearby plumbing so the feeder connection isn’t carrying pipe stress that can cause leaks over time.

Return Policy:
- All products, except as noted below, are eligible for return up to 30 days after receipt of item.
- For returns, an RMA form must be filled out HERE or customers can call for additional help.
- Shipping costs will be deducted from all returned items.
- Any item that is missing accessories, original packaging, or is not returned in the same condition that it was received in, may be subject to a re-stocking fee up to 100% based on the condition we receive it in.
- Items broken, damaged, or inoperable due to installer error will not be refunded.
