Hayward SPX1070B – Adjusting Collar Deck Ring (White)
Product Overview
The Hayward SPX1070B is a white adjusting collar (deck ring) designed for use with Hayward SkimMaster series skimmers (models SP1070, SP1071 and SP10712S). It enables the skimmer throat to be brought flush with the pool deck or coping for proper installation and alignment.

Installation Instructions
- Turn off the pool circulation system and relieve any pressure before working on the skimmer.
- Remove the existing deck ring or collar and clean the surrounding deck area.
- Place the SPX1070B collar onto the skimmer throat, align the bolt holes, and secure with corrosion-resistant screws.
- Ensure the skimmer lid fits properly and is flush with the deck; adjust as needed until level.
- Restore system operation and verify the skimmer functions properly with no gaps around the collar.
Troubleshooting
- Skimmer lid not flush with deck: Verify collar is installed level and the correct height adjustment has been made.
- Debris bypass around throat: Ensure collar is seated correctly and the gap between throat and deck is sealed.
- Cracking or wear around collar edge: Replace the collar if damaged or deformed as it may compromise skimmer performance.
Maintenance Tip
Inspect the adjusting collar annually during your pool service. If the collar shows signs of wear or the deck surface becomes uneven around the skimmer throat, replacing it with the SPX1070B helps maintain correct skimmer alignment and reliable function.

Return Policy:
- Products that are received damaged will receive a refund in store credit.
- Most products are eligible for return within 30 days of receipt, except where noted below.
- To initiate a return, please complete an RMA form prior to sending your item back.
- Original shipping costs are non-refundable and will be deducted from the return credit.
- Items returned missing accessories or original packaging, or that are not in the same condition as received, may be subject to a restocking fee of up to 100% depending on the condition of the item upon return.
- Some returns will be charged an automatic 15% restocking fee.
- We are unable to issue refunds for items that have been damaged or rendered inoperable due to installer error.

- If a light is returned due to a reported malfunction and is found to be fully operational upon testing, return shipping costs and a restocking fee will be deducted from the refund.
- Orders refused at the time of delivery will be subject to the original shipping costs being deducted from the refund.
