The Hayward AXW350 is a genuine tune-up kit for select Hayward suction-side automatic pool cleaners used on concrete, plaster, and pebble pool surfaces. It replaces the common wear items that affect movement, climbing, and cleaning coverage—helping restore “like-new” performance without replacing the entire cleaner.

What This Kit Fixes

  • Cleaner moves slower or struggles to climb walls due to worn shoes and flaps
  • Poor pickup or debris blowing back from worn flaps
  • Cleaner wanders, loses traction, or has inconsistent pathing from worn shoes/wings
  • General performance drop from normal wear on high-contact parts

Surface & Use Notes

  • Designed for concrete / plaster / pebble pool finishes.
  • If you have a vinyl liner pool, use the correct vinyl-surface tune-up kit instead.
  • This is a wear-item refresh kit; if the cleaner still won’t move correctly afterward, inspect the A-frame, pods, and internal steering/turbine parts for wear.

Quick Install Overview

  1. Remove the cleaner from the pool and rinse off debris.
  2. Replace the front and rear flaps if the edges are curled, torn, or stiff.
  3. Replace the shoes if they’re worn thin or smooth (loss of traction is common).
  4. Replace the wings if they’re torn, warped, or missing.
  5. Rinse the cleaner, reinstall, and test for normal movement and wall-climbing.

Maintenance Tips

  • Check the flaps monthly—once they curl or tear, cleaning and climbing performance drops fast.
  • Inspect shoes for uneven wear; replace before they wear through to protect pods and improve traction.
  • Rinse the cleaner after heavy debris events and keep the skimmer basket and pump basket clean for best suction.
  • If the cleaner starts spinning or stalling, inspect the hose length, hose swivels, and suction level before assuming a parts failure.

  • Orders costing more than  $300 WILL be required to have signature confirmation upon delivery.
  • Handling time is typically only 1 day.   
  • Any item ordered after 1pm Phoenix time, may not ship same-day.

Return Policy:

  • All products, except as noted below, are eligible for return up to 30 days after receipt of item.
  • For returns, an RMA form must be filled out HERE or customers can call for additional help.
  • Shipping costs will be deducted from all returned items.
  • Any item that is missing accessories, original packaging, or is not returned in the same condition that it was received in, may be subject to a re-stocking fee up to 100% based on the condition we receive it in. 
  • Items broken, damaged, or inoperable due to installer error will not be refunded.
  • Fill out the return form or give us a call to obtain an RMA and return shipping label.

  • No returns on pool cleaners.
  • No returns on opened seals and o-rings.
  • No returns on capacitors.
  • If a light is returned because it "doesn't work" and it tests fine, the cost to ship and a re-stocking fee will be deducted from the refund.
  • All products denied upon arrival at customers house WILL be charged the cost to ship.
  • Visa Gift Card Promotions: Gift cards are sent within 14 days of the order. When accepting the Visa Gift card, you agree that if your order is returned or refunded, this amount will be deducted from the refunded amount. All Visa Gift cards are sent via email in an E-Gift Card format and are non refundable.
