Hayward CCX1000D Lock Ring Assembly with Safety Clips (XStream™ Cartridge Filters)
The Hayward CCX1000D is a genuine OEM lock ring assembly with safety clips used on Hayward XStream cartridge filter tanks. This ring secures the filter head to the lower body and provides a safe, even clamping force so the tank seal can seat correctly. Replace it if the original ring is cracked, stretched, sun-brittle, or won’t lock down evenly.

Note: The tank O-ring/seal is commonly sold separately. If you’re fixing a seam leak, inspect and replace the tank seal at the same time.

- Seepage at the tank seam caused by uneven clamping (after confirming the tank seal is in good condition)

Installation Notes
- Turn off the pump and relieve filter pressure before opening the filter.
- Clean the tank flange and ring seating surfaces so the ring can clamp evenly.
- Inspect the tank O-ring for flattening, nicks, or stretching and replace if needed.
- Lock the ring fully and confirm the safety clips are engaged before restarting the system.

Maintenance Tips
- Always bleed air and depressurize the filter before unlocking the ring—never open a pressurized filter.
- Keep the tank seal clean and lightly lubricated with silicone-based lube to improve resealing and reduce pinching.
- Replace sun-brittle rings/clips early—secure clamping is critical for safe operation.
- If the seam seeps after service, depressurize, re-seat the O-ring evenly, and re-lock the ring fully (don’t force it).

Return Policy:
- All products, except as noted below, are eligible for return up to 30 days after receipt of item.
- For returns, an RMA form must be filled out HERE or customers can call for additional help.
- Shipping costs will be deducted from all returned items.
- Any item that is missing accessories, original packaging, or is not returned in the same condition that it was received in, may be subject to a re-stocking fee up to 100% based on the condition we receive it in.
- Items broken, damaged, or inoperable due to installer error will not be refunded.

When accepting the Visa Gift card, you agree that if your order is returned or refunded, this amount will be deducted from the refunded amount.
