Applications & Compatibility
This fitting is used in in-ground pools with standard 1½″ return ports where precise flow direction is desired. Ideal for vinyl, fiberglass or concrete pools. Before installation, confirm the existing return plumbing size (1½″ thread) and that the fitting face matches your wall fitting recess.
Installation Instructions
- Turn off the circulation pump and relieve system pressure before servicing.
- Remove the existing eyeball or return fitting if present.
- Apply appropriate thread sealant or Teflon tape to the 1½″ male threads.
- Screw the SP1419DBLK into the return port until flush and tighten securely.
- Adjust the eyeball face to direct water toward the desired direction for circulation.
- Restore system flow and verify that return flow is directed properly and no leaks are present.
Troubleshooting
- Poor circulation or dead zones: Adjust the eyeball aiming direction to improve flow pattern.
- Leaks at wall fitting: Verify threads are sealed, fitting is fully threaded, and the wall port is clean and free of debris.
- Eyeball loose or misaligned: Tighten fitting and reorient eyeball to correct direction.
Maintenance Tip
Inspect the fitting annually. If the eyeball or finish shows wear, cracking or discoloration, replace it to maintain effective return flow and pool circulation. Keeping return fittings in good condition helps maintain water clarity and extends equipment life.

Return Policy:
- Products that are received damaged will receive a refund in store credit.
- Most products are eligible for return within 30 days of receipt, except where noted below.
- To initiate a return, please complete an RMA form prior to sending your item back.
- Original shipping costs are non-refundable and will be deducted from the return credit.
- Items returned missing accessories or original packaging, or that are not in the same condition as received, may be subject to a restocking fee of up to 100% depending on the condition of the item upon return.
- Some returns will be charged an automatic 15% restocking fee.
- We are unable to issue refunds for items that have been damaged or rendered inoperable due to installer error.

- If a light is returned due to a reported malfunction and is found to be fully operational upon testing, return shipping costs and a restocking fee will be deducted from the refund.
- Orders refused at the time of delivery will be subject to the original shipping costs being deducted from the refund.
