The Hayward SP1094D vacuum plate allows you to vacuum through the skimmer basket of select above-ground pool skimmers. It fits standard hose sizes and installs over the skimmer basket to improve ease of vacuuming.

Applications & Compatibility
This vacuum plate is designed for above-ground pool skimmers. When you need to vacuum the pool and want to use the skimmer basket rather than removing the pump basket, the SP1094D makes the process simpler and cleaner. Ensure your skimmer is one of the compatible models and that you have space for a 5¼″ diameter plate.
Installation Instructions
- Turn off the pool pump and relieve suction before servicing.
- Remove the skimmer basket and insert the SP1094D plate over the basket seat.
- Attach the vacuum hose (1¼″ or 1½″) to the elbow on the plate until fully seated.
- Replace basket cover or lid, restore circulation, and begin vacuuming via the skimmer.
Troubleshooting
- Vacuum hose does not fit: Verify hose size—1¼″ or 1½″—and make sure the elbow on the plate is correctly sized.
- Plate does not seat correctly: Ensure the skimmer basket seat is clean and free of debris so the plate fits flat.
- Low vacuum suction: Check that the skimmer basket is clear, the plate is seated properly, and the hose connection is secure.
Maintenance Tip
Rinse the plate periodically to remove debris and inspect the elbow connection for wear. Replacing the SP1094D when the elbow or plate surface is damaged ensures better vacuum performance and easier maintenance of your above-ground pool.

Return Policy:
- Products that are received damaged will receive a refund in store credit.

- Original shipping costs are non-refundable and will be deducted from the return credit.
- Items returned missing accessories or original packaging, or that are not in the same condition as received, may be subject to a restocking fee of up to 100% depending on the condition of the item upon return.
- Some returns will be charged an automatic 15% restocking fee.

- If a light is returned due to a reported malfunction and is found to be fully operational upon testing, return shipping costs and a restocking fee will be deducted from the refund.
- Orders refused at the time of delivery will be subject to the original shipping costs being deducted from the refund.
