Installation & Use Notes

Turn off the pump and release system pressure before opening the filter. Remove the old cartridge, rinse the tank interior, and install the new R173216 element, ensuring it seats properly on the manifold. Replace the lid, restart the system, and check for normal operating pressure.

Maintenance Tips

Rinse the cartridge when the pressure gauge rises 8–10 PSI over clean starting pressure.
Replace the element when pleats collapse, fabric tears, or cleaning no longer restores flow.
Keep a spare cartridge available to swap during cleaning for uninterrupted operation.

Return Policy:

Products that are received damaged will receive a refund in store credit.
Most products are eligible for return within 30 days of receipt, except where noted below.
To initiate a return, please complete an RMA form prior to sending your item back.
Original shipping costs are non-refundable and will be deducted from the return credit.
Items returned missing accessories or original packaging, or that are not in the same condition as received, may be subject to a restocking fee of up to 100% depending on the condition of the item upon return.
Some returns will be charged an automatic 15% restocking fee.
