The Pentair 460748 Manifold Kit is a genuine replacement water system manifold assembly for compatible Pentair MasterTemp® 250 pool and spa heaters. This manifold is used on MasterTemp 250 natural gas and propane heater models and helps route pool water through the heater’s water system.

This replacement kit is commonly used when the original heater manifold is cracked, leaking, damaged, warped, or has internal components that are worn or no longer sealing correctly. A damaged manifold can cause water leaks, flow problems, pressure issues, heater cycling, overheating symptoms, or poor heater operation.

  • MasterTemp 175, 200, 300, 400, HD, and ASME models may use different manifold or heat exchanger parts.
  • Heater water leaks can also be caused by damaged O-rings, tube sheet seals, connector tubes, drain plugs, pressure relief fittings, or heat exchanger damage.
  • Replacing the manifold may not correct heater issues caused by gas supply, ignition, control board, sensor, airflow, or heat exchanger problems.
  • Gas heater repairs should be performed by a qualified pool heater technician.

Installation Notes

  • Turn off electrical power to the heater before service.
  • Shut off the gas supply before working on or around gas heater components.
  • Allow the heater to cool completely before removing any water system parts.
  • Relieve system pressure and drain the heater before removing the manifold.
  • Inspect the heat exchanger, tube sheet O-rings, bypass valve, thermal regulator, pressure switch, drain plug, and connector tube parts during service.
  • Replace worn O-rings and seals whenever the manifold is removed.
  • Use only pool-safe silicone lubricant on applicable O-rings.
  • Do not use petroleum-based lubricants on rubber seals.
  • After installation, check carefully for leaks and verify proper heater operation before returning the system to normal use.

Return Policy:

  • Products that are received damaged will receive a refund in store credit.
  • Most products are eligible for return within 30 days of receipt, except where noted below.
  • To initiate a return, please complete an RMA form prior to sending your item back.
  • Original shipping costs are non-refundable and will be deducted from the return credit.
  • Items returned missing accessories or original packaging, or that are not in the same condition as received, may be subject to a restocking fee of up to 100% depending on the condition of the item upon return.
  • Some returns will be charged an automatic 15% restocking fee.
  • We are unable to issue refunds for items that have been damaged or rendered inoperable due to installer error.

  • If a light is returned due to a reported malfunction and is found to be fully operational upon testing, return shipping costs and a restocking fee will be deducted from the refund.
  • Orders refused at the time of delivery will be subject to the original shipping costs being deducted from the refund.
