Hayward CX3030F SwimClear Inlet Elbow
The Hayward CX3030F SwimClear Inlet Elbow is a genuine replacement inlet elbow for select Hayward SwimClear™ multi-element cartridge filter systems. This part is used in the filter plumbing assembly to help route incoming water into the filter tank on compatible SwimClear models.
This replacement elbow is commonly used when the original inlet elbow is cracked, leaking, damaged during service, cross-threaded, or no longer sealing correctly with the filter body or related plumbing components.

- Bulkhead fitting, outlet elbow, piping assembly, unions, O-rings, clamp system, filter body, cartridges, and complete filter are sold separately unless otherwise stated.
- Verify your exact Hayward SwimClear model number and parts diagram before ordering.
- This part is not universal for all Hayward cartridge filters, Star-Clear filters, XStream filters, Pro-Grid D.E. filters, or SwimClear single-element filters.
- This is not the same part as the CX3035F bulkhead fitting or CX3020FB outlet elbow.
- If the filter body, bulkhead fitting, O-ring sealing surface, or connected plumbing is damaged, replacing the inlet elbow alone may not stop the leak.
- Always relieve filter pressure before servicing any filter plumbing component.
Installation Notes
- Turn off the pool pump before servicing the filter.
- Relieve all pressure from the filter using the air relief valve before loosening any fittings.
- Drain water from the filter as needed before removing the old elbow.
- Inspect the connected bulkhead fitting, O-rings, threads, and filter body for cracks or damage.
- Clean sealing surfaces before installing the replacement elbow.
- Thread or seat the replacement fitting carefully to avoid cross-threading.
- Do not overtighten plastic filter fittings.
- After installation, restart the system and check closely for leaks under normal operating pressure.

Maintenance Tips
- Inspect filter inlet and outlet fittings whenever the filter is opened for service.
- Keep filter pressure within the manufacturer’s recommended operating range.
- Clean cartridges regularly to reduce excess pressure on filter components.
- Repair plumbing stress, misalignment, or vibration that may crack filter fittings.
- Replace worn or flattened O-rings when servicing filter plumbing connections.
- Address small leaks quickly to help prevent damage to the filter body, equipment pad, or connected plumbing.

Return Policy:
- Products that are received damaged will receive a refund in store credit.
- Most products are eligible for return within 30 days of receipt, except where noted below.
- To initiate a return, please complete an RMA form prior to sending your item back.
- Original shipping costs are non-refundable and will be deducted from the return credit.
- Items returned missing accessories or original packaging, or that are not in the same condition as received, may be subject to a restocking fee of up to 100% depending on the condition of the item upon return.
- Some returns will be charged an automatic 15% restocking fee.
- We are unable to issue refunds for items that have been damaged or rendered inoperable due to installer error.
- Please complete the return form to receive your RMA number and return shipping label.
- Chemical products are not eligible for return under any circumstances.

- Pool cleaners are not eligible for return.
- Opened seals and o-rings are not eligible for return.
- Capacitors are not eligible for return.

- Automation components and circuit boards are not eligible for return.
- If a light is returned due to a reported malfunction and is found to be fully operational upon testing, return shipping costs and a restocking fee will be deducted from the refund.
- Orders refused at the time of delivery will be subject to the original shipping costs being deducted from the refund.
