The Pentair 354811S is an OEM replacement pump motor designed for select Pentair WhisperFlo and WhisperFloXF high-flow pump configurations. This is a heavy-duty, totally enclosed fan-cooled (TEFC) motor built for demanding pool and commercial circulation systems where 3-phase power is available. Replacing a failed motor restores reliable start-up, smooth operation, and full output.

Common Reasons to Replace the Motor
- Motor will not start, starts intermittently, or trips protection devices
- Overheating, abnormal fan noise, or repeated thermal shutdown
- Grinding/squealing bearing noise or excessive vibration
- Burnt odor, visible corrosion, or evidence of electrical damage
- Reduced performance after confirming the wet end (impeller/diffuser) is in good condition
Installation Notes
- Turn off power at the breaker/disconnect and verify power is off before servicing.
- Confirm your supply is 3-phase and wire the motor for the correct voltage (208–230V vs 460V).
- When swapping motors, it’s strongly recommended to replace the mechanical shaft seal and any disturbed O-rings/gaskets.
- Inspect the seal plate, diffuser, and impeller for heat damage if the pump has run dry.
- After reassembly, prime the pump fully and check for leaks at the seal plate seam and plumbing connections.

Maintenance Tips
- Keep the equipment area ventilated and clear of debris so the TEFC motor fan can move air freely.
- Address wet-end leaks immediately—water intrusion and corrosion can shorten motor life.
- Maintain good flow (clean baskets/strainers and filters) to reduce load and heat.
- Verify proper bonding/grounding and stable supply voltage; electrical issues can damage pump motors.
- If installed in a harsh environment (salt air, chemical storage nearby), reduce chemical splash exposure and rinse exterior surfaces as needed.

Return Policy:
- Products that are received damaged will receive a refund in store credit.
- Most products are eligible for return within 30 days of receipt, except where noted below.
- To initiate a return, please complete an RMA form prior to sending your item back.
- Original shipping costs are non-refundable and will be deducted from the return credit.
- Items returned missing accessories or original packaging, or that are not in the same condition as received, may be subject to a restocking fee of up to 100% depending on the condition of the item upon return.
- Some returns will be charged an automatic 15% restocking fee.
- We are unable to issue refunds for items that have been damaged or rendered inoperable due to installer error.

- Opened seals and o-rings are not eligible for return.
- Capacitors are not eligible for return.

- Automation components and circuit boards are not eligible for return.
- If a light is returned due to a reported malfunction and is found to be fully operational upon testing, return shipping costs and a restocking fee will be deducted from the refund.
- Orders refused at the time of delivery will be subject to the original shipping costs being deducted from the refund.
