Installation Instructions
- Place the filter on a level, stable pad rated for the load of the filled tank.
- Connect to the pump return plumbing using appropriate unions or fittings, making sure to align valve ports correctly.
- Fill the tank ~¾ full of pool-grade sand, install the laterals and set up the multiport valve per manufacturer instructions.
- Start the system, monitor the pressure gauge, and backwash the filter as required to establish normal operation.
Troubleshooting
- High pressure rise soon after startup: Check for closed returns or blocked plumbing. Confirm sand depth and lateral assembly.
- Poor water clarity: Confirm filtration flow is correct, valve is in “Filter” position and sand is not channeling.
- Leaks around valve or tank base: Inspect O-rings, ensure union connections are tight, and verify tank mounting surface is solid.
Maintenance Tip
Backwash the filter when pressure rises ~8-10 psi above the clean baseline. Inspect valve and tank annually for wear or degradation. Replace sand every 5-7 years for optimal performance and clean water clarity.

- Products that are received damaged will receive a refund in store credit.

- To initiate a return, please complete an RMA form prior to sending your item back.
- Original shipping costs are non-refundable and will be deducted from the return credit.
- Items returned missing accessories or original packaging, or that are not in the same condition as received, may be subject to a restocking fee of up to 100% depending on the condition of the item upon return.
- Some returns will be charged an automatic 15% restocking fee.

- If a light is returned due to a reported malfunction and is found to be fully operational upon testing, return shipping costs and a restocking fee will be deducted from the refund.
- Orders refused at the time of delivery will be subject to the original shipping costs being deducted from the refund.
